Japanese Sushi King Pays $3.1M For Giant Tuna

The self-proclaimed Tuna King of Japan  is forking over more than three-million-dollars for a giant tuna.   Kiyoshi Kimura won a predawn auction today in Tokyo's new fish market for a 613-pound bluefish tuna.  That species in endangered because it is  prized by sushi eaters.  The first fish auction of a new year is  usually draws the best fish and the biggest bids.  Kimura owned the  previous record paid for one fish of one-point-four million dollars in  2013.  His bid today was for three-point-one million dollars.
