House Majority Whip Steve Scalise says there are some very alarming things happening at the U.S.-Mexican border. After a classified briefing for congressional leaders at the White House today, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said there is an ongoing crisis at the border. McCarthy said there should be a bipartisan effort to end the partial government shutdown, which was prompted by President Trump's demand for several billion dollars for a border wall. Democrats have rejected that demand.
