It is a rematch in the College Football Playoff championship. Number one Alabama and number two Clemson each won convincingly in the semifinals Saturday to advance to the title game for the third time in four years. Alabama jumped out to a 28-0 lead and defeated number four Oklahoma 45-34 at the Orange Bowl in Miami. Number two Clemson dominated Notre Dame 30-3 at the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas. The championship game will be January 7th at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
