Just in case Santa didn't leave you a new car in your stocking, there is plenty of time left to take advantage of the best car deals of the year, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Vic Vaughn, who owns several area auto dealerships, including Toyota of Boerne, says the week between Christmas and New Year's is generally accepted as the best time of the year to buy a new car.
"All the manufacturers put the most incentive money, be it lower A.P.R.'s, big rebates, or dealer cash, they do it all now," he said.
Everybody involved in the car sales process, from the manufacturer to the dealer, are hoping to pump up 2018 sales numbers by doing a lot of deals in the final week of the year.
"We'll sell probably three times the new cars on a daily basis," he said. "The last week of the year is typically two weeks worth of business."
