The Cowboys secured the NFC East title with a 27-20 victory over the Buccaneers in Arlington. Dak Prescott ran for a Dallas touchdown and threw for another. Jaylon Smith returned a fumble 69 yards for a Cowboys' touchdown, while Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 85 yards on 18 carries. Dallas improved to 9-and-6. Jameis Winston completed 34 of 48 passes for 336 yards and a Tampa Bay touchdown, but lost two fumbles that led to 14 Dallas points. Mike Evans, who had six catches for 90 yards, hauled in a touchdown pass with 2:05 left, but the Bucs never got the ball back. Tampa has lost three straight to fall to 5-and-10, the fifth time in six seasons they have double-figure defeats.
