A woman in her thirties is dead following a tragic incident in the parking lot of a northwest side pizza restaurant, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the couple was at Big John's Pizza at Callaghan and Torino, which is just off I-10. when te argument began.
Police say the boyfriend got into his car to try to drive away from the argument, but the woman tried to hang onto the car to prevent him from leaving.
The man hit the brakes and the woman fell under the wheels.
She was rushed to University Hospital in very critical condition where she was pronounced dead.
Police say detectives are interviewing the man, but right now they are handling the case as an accident.
