New Braunfels Police investigating a call about a suspicious person around a community mailbox arrested a 42 year old San Antonio woman, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the call came in from the Caprock subdivision on Highway 46 South.. They got a description of an 'older model black Jeep, and when the vehicle was pulled over, officers found 'several hundred. packages and letters' inside the vehicle.
Police say the woman, identified as Lara Krupa of San Antonio.. She was allegedly also in possession of meth, and was booked on that charge into the Guadalupe County Jail.. Federal officials will handle the mail theft investigation.
The mail came from boxes in the Caprock and Legend Pond subdivisions and possibly others.
