An argument in the parking lot of a west side apartment complex ended early today with one of the arguers hospitalized with life threatening stab wounds, and the other arguer in jail, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to the apartment on Winkle Court, which is off Old Highway 90. When they arrived they found a man in his twenties sprawled in the parking lot, bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
He was rushed to the hospital with life threatening wounds and was listed in critical condition.
Police were told that the men were arguing when a man in his fifties pulled a knife and began stabbing the younger man multiple times.
The suspect waited for police and surrendered. He is expected to face charges of aggravated assault.
Police didn't know the relationship between the two men, if any, or what may have prompted the argument.
