A victim described by Sheriff's Deputies as a 'young white male' was rushed to the hospital with no vital signs after he was the victim of a drive by shooting on the city's far west side overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
He later died at the hospital, according to the Medical Examiner.
The victim was found bleeding from at least one gunshot wound in the 3800 block of Salty Marsh, which is across Highway 90 from Lackland Air Force Base.
He was rushed to University Hospital where he is listed in 'extremely critical' condition.
Deputies say they were told by witnesses that they say a 'small green car' speeding away, but they have made no arrests and have no motive in the shooting.
