A San Antonio Police Officer suffered minor injuries today when his patrol car was broadsided by an SUV as he was rushing to an emergency call with his lights and siren activated, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the officer was on Martin Street on the northwest edge of downtown when he has hit by the SUV as he entered the access road of Interstate 35.
Both the officer and the driver of the SUV were slightly hurt and were treated at the scene.
No word on possible charges in connection with the wreck.
