Job openings in the U.S. are up for the month of October. The latest numbers from the Labor Department show job openings went up 119-thousand to total more than seven-million. That exceeds the number of unemployed workers by one million. The number of Americans quitting their jobs have declined since January to just over three-and-a-half million.
