A DPS Trooper was injured overnight when a driver slammed into the back of his patrol car at Highway 90 West at Callaghan Rd, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
A San Antonio Police Officer was on the scene of an accident, and the trooper had pulled behind the accident to help with traffic control, when a white pickup smashed into the trooper's car.
The 29 year old driver of the pickup is being investigated for possible DWI.. The trooper is hospitalized in stable condition.
