Oklahoma is in and Ohio State and Georgia are out of the college football playoffs. The Sooners secured the final berth to play for the NCAA national championship by knocking off Texas in the Big 12 Championship game. They will join No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Notre Dame in competing for the crown. Alabama and Oklahoma will meet in the Orange Bowl in one semifinal . Clemson and Notre Dame will play in the Cotton Bowl in the other semifinal. Both those games are scheduled for December 29th. The national championship game is scheduled for January 7th in Santa Clara, California.
