A disturbance in the parking lot of a northwest side sports bar early today ended with two people hospitalized with life threatening wounds, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The incident happened in the parking lot of a bar right across Loop 410 from Ingram Park Mall about 1:30 AM.
A security guard at the sports bar told arriving officers that he opened fire when he saw a woman dragging a man through the parking lot as he was clinging to the passenger door of a pickup.
The woman then ran over the man.. the security guard fired twice, hitting the woman in the throat and in the arm.
She then smashed into two cars and in 18 wheeler on the 410 access road.
Police are questioning the security guard, and are also trying to determine what sparked the argument between the man and the woman.
