A man was shot in the head as he drove down I-10 overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim was eastbound on I-10 near W.W. White Road when a dark colored pickup pulled alongside, and an occupant started firing into the car.
The victims car skidded off the road and smashed into the guard rail. The driver was rushed to the hospital with no vital signs.
Police say they dont think there is a person out there shooting at cars on the highway. The suspect sped away after the shooting, and officers are looking into any possible connections to the victim.
