President Trump is pardoning a Thanksgiving turkey. Upholding a longstanding tradition at the White House today, Trump officially pardoned a plump turkey named Peas. Peas and an understudy named Carrots will be retiring at the Gobblers Rest exhibit at Virginia Tech. The turkeys are from South Dakota. Trump joked that Democrats will issue Peas and Carrots subpoenas when they take control of the House in January.
