Longhorns starting quarterback Sam Ehlinger has a AC contusion on his throwing shoulder. Texas coach Tom Herman said there is no major damage after a MRI. Ehlinger suffered the injury Saturday in a win over Iowa State and did not play in the second half. Herman is optimistic Ehlinger will play Friday at Kansas. If the Longhorns win they will play in the Big 12 championship game on December 1st at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
