A woman was wounded and a man was killed when a customer opened fire with a handgun inside a sports bar at closing time early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
When police arrived at the bar at San Pedro and Patricia on the north side, they found both of the victims, in their twenties, shot.. The woman was rushed to University Hospital with non life threatening wounds.. The man was pronounced dead inside the bar.
Police were told that a customer in the bar 'just started shooting.'
The gunman, who was dressed all in red, escaped along with a woman, and remains at large.
Police don't have a motive, and don't know if there was a connection between the suspect and the victims, and what the motive may be.
