The airline industry is expecting a record number of travelers this Thanksgiving. The trade group Airlines for America has released its annual Thanksgiving travel forecast and is expecting a record number of holiday passengers. They expect over 30-million people will travel on U.S. airlines over the holidays, which is up a million from last year. The trade group says affordable flight options are the reason for the expected record number of travelers and that airfares are near historic lows.
