A woman was shot in the head after a bullet came through the front windshield of the car she was riding in.
According to police, a couple was traveling on General McMullen near Hwy. 90. A black vehicle pulled beside them and fired a shot through the window. The bullet hit the woman in the head.
The man driving drove to Weir Ave to call for help. The woman was taken to SAMC in critical condition.
Police are searching for the suspect. They believe it was a road rage incident.
