A woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition early Saturday following a shooting police blame on a highway confrontation,, News Radio 1200 WOAI news reports.
Police say a man and a woman were leaving a party and were driving down Hwy 90 near Gen. McMullen when their SUV was cut off by a black Cadillac.
Somebody in the Cadillac then started shooting into the SUV, striking the woman in the head.
The male driver went to an address on Gen. McMullen where EMS was called.
Police are questioning the man to determine what was behind the shooting.
