Officials are identifying the suspect arrested in connection to the suspicious packages as Cesar Sayoc Junior. The 56-year-old man is from Aventura, Florida -- just outside of Miami. They confirm he had at one point lived in New York, but it is unclear of the exact location. Sayoc Junior is said to have had a previous criminal record.
There are now a dozen suspected explosive devices that have been aimed at high profile targets in the U.S., primarily Democrats.
Recipients include former President Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, former First Lady Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder, New Jersey Democratic Senator Cory Booker, California Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters, former CIA Director John Brennan and former national intelligence chief James Clapper.
