One Treated Following North Side Mobile Home Fire

A woman in her fifties was treated for smoke inhalation following an early morning fire at a north side trailer park, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

When firefighters arrived at the trailer park at 281 and Thousand Oaks, they found one mobile home fully engulfed in flames.  They made the decision to 'go defensive' and prevent the raging fire from spreading to other trailers.

Several nearby mobile homes were evacuated, including the one where the woman who had to be treated lives.

Nobody was inside the mobile home that burned.  It was a total loss.

Arson investigators are on the scene trying to determine what caused the fire.
