Its a busy day of campaigning in San Antonio for the two candidates for U.S. Senate, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Democrat Beto O'Rourke gathered a large crowd of admirers at the Brook Hollow Library, as he met with both supporters and voters.
Many voters said they are infrequent voters who arrived for the chance to meet O'Rourke.
"I don't voter every years, I haven't," one woman said. "I have just said, what's the point. But this year, I've been inspired to come out."
O'Rourke was kept one thousand feet away from the polling place. Election judges says that's because he was using a bullhorn to talk to the crowd.
"He has re-energized Texas," another woman said. "I voted yesterday, but I came back just to see Beto."
Meanwhile, Sen. Ted Cruz was meeting with supporters at the Buckhorn downtown, where he was joined by his fellow U.S. Senator John Cornyn.
Cruz was just off of the enthusiastic rally with President Trump that was held before a capacity crowd in Houston.
