Some 1,500 new jobs are coming to San Antonio as part of a move by a Prague-based tech firm to expand their American footprint, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff says this is a major shift in economic development.
"We've always concentrated on Mexico, Canada and the United States. Now that reach is going broader."
Jenna Saucedo-Herrera, who heads the city's Economic Devvelopment Foundation, says this hangs a huge sign on San Antonio that we're open for business.
"Look at the projects that we're working. We're seeing more and more interest from international companies."
And Mayor Ron Nirenberg says this is a positive sign about our workforce.
"Workforce in San Antonio has gone from a drain to a strength. A critical strength. And this is a belweather for the future of our city."
