The Red Sox are headed to the World Series. They eliminated the defending champion Astros with a 4-1 win in Game Five of the American League Championship Series in Houston. J.D. Martinez hit a solo homer in the third inning and Rafael Devers added a three-run shot in the sixth for Boston. David Price struck out nine over six innings of three-hit ball for the win. Justin Verlander took the loss for Houston. Marwin Gonzalez homered for the Astros in the seventh. Boston won the series 4-1 and will face either the Dodgers or Brewers in the Fall Classic.
