A possible threat against Republican Senator Susan Collins is being investigated in Maine. Bangor Police Sergeant Wade Betters said a suspicious letter was sent to Collins' home. He noted that U.S. Capitol Police will be taking over the investigation and said the FBI has also been notified. A HAZMAT team is assessing the suspicious letter. Collins was a key yes vote in the highly contentious confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
