In a game that saw Texas starting quarterback Sam Ehlinger suffer a shoulder injury, the Longhorns held on to defeat Baylor 23 to 16.
The Bears were driving in the final seconds, but were unable to get the go-ahead score.
Ehlinger was hurt on the first drive of the game and stood on the sidelines the rest of the contest as Shane Buechele took over at quarterback.
