Senator Joe Manchin will be the only Democrat voting to support the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. The West Virginia Democrat is a moderate in a red state and is running for re-election this year. In a statement, Manchin said he believes Kavanaugh is a qualified jurist who will rule in a manner that is consistent with the U.S. Constitution. A confirmation vote on Kavanaugh is expected to happen tomorrow or Sunday. Manchin spoke to reporters outside his office and was interrupted by some protesters chanting, "Shame on you!"
