Justin Verlander took a no-hitter into the sixth inning as the Astros turned back the Indians 7-2 in their AL Division Series opener in Houston. Verlander struck out seven over five and a third innings of two-run ball for the win. Alex Bregman, George Springer, Jose Altuve and Martin Maldonado all hit solo homers for the Astros. Josh Reddick added a pair of RBI singles for Houston, which will also host Game Two on Saturday. Corey Kluber took the loss. The Indians had just three hits in defeat.
