President Trump is praising the big new trade deal with Canada and Mexico. Speaking at the White House today, Trump said the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement will open markets to U.S. farmers and manufacturers. Trump has been harshly critical of NAFTA for years, calling it a very bad deal for the U.S. NAFTA was negotiated during the administration of President Bill Clinton. Congress will need to consider the new trade deal, but that probably won't happen until next year.
