S.A. Humane Society identifies women they say stole 2 dogs

The San Antonio Humane Society said that they have identified the people responsible for the theft of two dogs.

The Society said that a 4-year-old male Chihuahua mix and a 3-year-old female Chihuahua mix were stolen around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Pictures of the people believed to be responsible were Tweeted out, and  by early Sunday morning enough tips came in that the suspects were  identified.

A spokesperson with the organization released the following statement:

We at the San  Antonio Humane Society have received multiple tips and now know the  identities of the two ladies featured in the video footage from Sept.  29, 2018. They were not authorized to walk out with our Chihuahuas and  we ask that you please return Marco and Kirsten immediately before  further steps will be taken. No questions will be asked and no arrests  will be made at this time.

The Society’s Director of Operations said that they are evaluating  staffing in their kennel areas and are working with their security team  to see where improvements can be made.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they can email agrady@SAhumane.org.
