Judiciary Committee Moves Kavanaugh Nomination To Full Senate

The nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court is headed to the full Senate for a confirmation vote. The Republican-led Judiciary Committee approved Kavanaugh this afternoon, but Arizona Senator Jeff Flake insisted a full Senate vote be delayed by one week while the FBI investigates sexual assault allegations. It is unclear if Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will delay the full senate vote that was expected to take place Tuesday.
