Life in Prison for Bandidos National President

The former National President of the Bandidos motorcycle gang today was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison following his conviction on murder and racketeering charges, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Jeffrey Pike was busted following an undercover investigation by federal agents discovered his all consuming drive to wipe out all threats to his control of drug running and other crimes on the streets of Texas.

Heather Pike, Jeffrey's wife, told News Radio 1200 WOAI after the sentence was announced that the feds got it wrong.  She says her husband is a 'family man' who is paying for the sins of 'bad apples within the Bandidos.

"Even in there today, I just wanted to get exasperated and yell," she said of the testimony.

The jury heard about the bloody battle between the Bandidos and the rival Cossacks, which culminated in a bloody shootout two years ago at a Twin Peaks restaurants in Waco that left nine bikers dead.

But Heather says the entire case was built on 'lies.'

"It was hard to sit there and listen to people say those things, and you know that they were lies," she said.  "Its just not right, what happened in there wasn't justice."

Even the judge in the case conceded that Pike never pulled the trigger and is not a 'violent man.'  He ordered that the Bureau of Prisons not send him to the infamous Supermax prison, which holds killers like the Unabomber and jihadist terrorists.
