President Trump is defending Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh after a second allegation of sexual assault was leveled against the federal judge. In New York this morning, Trump dismissed it as "totally political." According to the New Yorker magazine, a woman, Deborah Ramirez, who was at Yale with Kavanaugh in the early 1980s claims he exposed himself in front of her during what she called a drunken dorm party. Kavanaugh said in a statement the incident did not happen and he called the allegation a "smear, plain and simple." The New York Times said they cannot corroborate Ramirez's story.
