Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Brett Kavanaugh will be on the U.S. Supreme Court in the "very near future." McConnell made the remark at a conservative conference in DC this morning. He called Kavanaugh a "stunningly successful individual." Kavanaugh has strongly rejected an allegation of sexual assault from more than 30 years ago. The allegation comes from a California college professor who went to high school with Kavanaugh in Maryland.
