Dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Florence

Sunshine doesn't necessarily mean safety."  That's the warning from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper who noted today 16 rivers statewide are at major flood stage due to Florence, and three more will reach that stage on tomorrow or Thursday. Cooper added more than 1,100 roadways are closed due to severe floodwater and some are still at risk of closing.  Emergency management officials warn evacuees from the coast to stay away as cresting rivers will impact the state over the next few days.
