An 18 year old woman is in big trouble after she allegedly ran over a man who was crossing Blanco Rd. at a marked crosswalk, and then tried to speed away from the scene, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the woman tried to get away but smashed into another vehicle in her haste to flee. She was quickly arrested in a restaurant parking lot at Blanco and Parliament, not far from Churchill High School.
The man she ran over is in critical condition.
The driver of the car she hit as not hurt.Police are expected to charge the woman with felony counts of fleeing the scene of an accident.
