Francisco Mejia drilled the walk-off grand slam in the ninth inning to lift the Padres over the Rangers 7-3 at Petco Park. Hunter Renfroe also went deep for San Diego, which snapped a two-game slide. Kirby Yates was credited with the win as the Padres improved to 60-and-90. Jeffrey Springs was charged with the loss after he served up the winning home run. Willie Calhoun and Jurickson Profar each crushed solo shots for the Rangers as they dropped to 64-and-85.
