Hurricane Florence Makes Landfall At Wrightsville Beach, NC

Hurricane Florence is onshore.  The National Hurricane Center says Florence made landfall near Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.  The Category 1 storm is packing maximum winds estimated over 90 miles an hour.  Forecasters predict catastrophic flooding for much of the coastal Carolinas. Rainfall has already reached topped two inches per hour in parts of eastern North Carolina.  Storm surge could be as high as 11 feet in parts of North Carolina.
