Over a million people are under evacuation orders as Hurricane Florence approaches the southeastern U.S. The Category Four hurricane is taking a path for a direct hit on the Carolina coast this Thursday. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has ordered everyone on the state's coast to move inland. People on Hatteras Island in North Carolina and other parts of the Outer Banks are under a mandatory evacuation as well. In Virginia, Governor Ralph Northam issued evacuation orders for low-lying areas of the coast. Governors of all three states have issued states of emergency.
