Falcons Fall Short Against Eagles Again

Matt Ryan couldn't connect with Julio Jones in the end zone on the final play as the Eagles held on for an 18-12 win against the Falcons to open the NFL season in Philadelphia.  Jay Ajayi's second touchdown of the  night with 2:19 left in the fourth quarter put the Eagles ahead.  Ajayi finished with 15 carries for 62 yards as Philly began  defense of its first Super Bowl title with a win.  Jones was the lone  bright spot for Atlanta's offense, piling up 10 catches for 169 yards.   The Falcons lost to the Eagles 15-10 in the NFC Divisional Round last season.
