Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells is asking for donations to help pay off debt. Wells, who played Mary Ann, has received more than 50-thousand-dollars in donations so far from a Go-fund-me account. The fundraiser was launched August 27th with a goal of 180-thousand-dollars. A spokeswoman for Wells says she's been dealing with financial struggles since the 2008 recession and needs the money to alleviate penalties by the IRS. She's also looking for help to pay off medical bills after an unexpected accident left her hospitalized for two months.
