Two men were rushed to hospitals in extremely critical condition after they got into a raging gun battle at the corner of Perrin Central and Perrin Beitel on the city's north east side early Saturday, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the driver of a vehicle and another man started shooting at each other at a stoplight about 2:30AM.
The driver tried to drive away after the exchange of gunfire, making it as far as a Valero station before collapsing.. The other man was taken to the hospital by a passerby.
Both are in extremely critical condition.
Police are still trying to determine what triggered the gun fight.
