Arson investigators are looking into the cause of two fires at two north side apartment buildings overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The first alarm came in at the Branch at the Medical Center Apartments in the 7200 block of Snowden Road.
When crews arrived a fire that apparently started in a stairwell had spread to the second floor, forcing the evacuation of several apartments.
While crew were fighting that fire, an alarm came in at the Villas at Castle Hills Apartments on Jackson Keller Rd.
Crews had to evacuate everybody from that complex.
Nobody was hurt in either fire, and crews are still trying to determine the cause.
