Mattis: No Plans To Suspend More Joint Exercises With South Korea

Defense Secretary James Mattis says  there are no plans to suspend any more joint military exercises with South Korea. Talking with reporters at the Pentagon today, Mattis said  the joint exercises were suspended as a gesture of good will after  President Trump's summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in June.   However, negotiations with the North on denuclearization have stalled.   North Korea has protested U.S. military exercises with South Korea,  considering it a prelude to invasion.
