Prosecutors in Harris County say a suburban Houston man who has been linked to the shootings of women driving down Houston area roads in broad daylight, apparently did it because he doesn't think women should be allowed to drive, officials tell News Radio 1200 WOAI.
Nicholas D'Agostino of Katy is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with shooing two women, one in May and another in June, within a few miles of each other.
Court documents show D'Agostino 'didn't think women should be allowed to drive,' and said women drivers are 'incompetent.'
In addition, D'Agostino conceded that he holds a 'dim view of women' entirely, and one told an investigator that 'the sole purpose of women is to give birth to male children.'
D'Agostino's lawyer concedes that his client 'needs psychological help.
'D'Agostino is held in $200,000 bond on each of the two charges.None of the woman who was shot suffered life threatening wounds.
