Steven Duggar hit the go-ahead two-run triple in the fourth inning and the Giants held on to edge the Rangers 3-1 in San Francisco. Evan Longoria scored the Giants' first run on a passed ball in the first inning. Derek Holland pitched into the seventh inning to earn the win and Mark Melancon locked down the save. San Francisco took two-of-three in the series. Texas starter Yovani Gallardo surrendered three runs over five innings to take the loss. Elvis Andrus had an RBI double for the Rangers in defeat.
