Florida authorities say there are three people dead from the mass shooting at a Jacksonville video game tournament. Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams says that total includes a suspect who took his own life. The suspect in the deadly shooting at the Madden 19 video game tournament is being identified as 24-year-old David Katz from Baltimore, Maryland. The FBI and ATF are assisting in finding out more details about Katz, who was in Jacksonville for the competition. Investigators went to a Baltimore home, searching for clues. At least 11 people are hospitalized. All victims are in stable condition. Investigators are still trying to determine a motive.
Several people on social media participating in the Madden NFL Championship Series reported hearing gunshots during the tournament. A video (seen below) surfaced on social media showed players disconnecting from the game as gunshots heard in the background.
