Homeless Man Shot After Being Asked to Leave West Side Business

A man police say is homeless is hospitalized after being shot by a west side business owner, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say when the owner arrived at the business on San Fernando St, which is just west of the UTSA downtown campus, he discovered the vagrant sleeping in the doorway and told him to leave.

Officers say the homeless man refused, an argument ensued, and the homeless man was shot.  He was taken to the hospital with non life threatening wounds.

No word on whether any charges will be filed.
